A case of multiple prostatic calculi

Abstract
|
|
|
One case of prostatic calculi is presented with brief literature review.
Pathologic findings showed that its size was 4x5X4cm, its weight was 60g, cutting surface was fibrotic, dark brown, multiple stones were scattered.
Microscopic findings showed that prostatic epithelium changed to multiple layers and glands, interstitial tissues were hypertrophied. There were tracings of stones around the prostatic gland and necrosis of prostatic urethra, thease prostatic calculi have seemed likely to be due to stasis of prostatic fluids associated with urethral stricture.
